Here's why:

Well before the Internet became a consumer marketplace, I launched with the goal of providing quality arts information online. The site was a huge success by many measures, and ran continuously despite the ups and downs of the early dot-com era. Initially, it was my own effort, and later it was supported by outside investors who ultimately chose not to continue the site.

In 2001, based on my experience, I started Patron Technology, a company devoted to providing cutting edge e-mail marketing software and other e-marketing services to arts organizations.

Today, our PatronMail system is used by over 1,500 arts clients in the U.S and in five countries to do their e-mail marketing in a professional way. As our service is low-priced and easy to use, we have organizations of all budget sizes.

If you are running an arts organization, or are an individual artist (or run any business for that matter) and are seeking a cost-effective way to do sophisticated e-mail, I invite you to look on our Web site at or click here to contact us directly.

In the meantime, those of you that had been following, I hope that it was valuable to you and thank you for your support.
